A great blog entry from the fabulous and sensational Mr Jason Hart who we worship and adore!!!!!!!!

I've been working on new songs this week following a string of first dance song requests. I've had requests from from Take that to the Foo Fighters.

My personal favourite has to be Fyfe Dangerfield "she's always a woman" which I've been asked for a lot recently, also Michael Buble "Everything"

is often requested and also the wonderful "make you feel my love" by Adele is a scorching tune, soon to be learned!

I've already been totally amazed at a handful of wedding venues this year, but my top three for 2010/2011 has to be

The Monastry in Manchester (pictured below) quite literally a monastery, rebuilt with love care and attention and restored to it's former glory. I have been fortunate to

sing in some nice venues but the acoustics in this place were simply breathtaking and the staff were the best, repeat best I've ever worked with, due in no small part to the fact they carried my equipment in, parked my car and made me a cup of tea. Wonderful stuff!

The Merchant adventurers Hall- York The band were booked for a wedding two weeks ago at this venue and before we even set up our equipment the bride and groom

were dancing. The venue is a beautiful Tudor relic, packed to the rafters with suits of armour, tapestries and on this night, two hundred guests dancing on the tables. We

had a wonderful night and to top it off, the father of the bride returned at twelve-midnight with two hundred big mac meals! It was like feeding time at the zoo, I've never

seen anything like it, amazing fun, it really was, especially for a secret Mcdonalds lover like me, and also Barry our keyboard player who I noticed ate two ;-)

Shottle Hall - Derbyshire- I think Shottle is a wonderful venue and I could go on and on about the marquee, the food, the location, the view etc etc, but really, the people

that run it and work there are it's best selling point, I love returning there.

My favourite wedding this year has to be Alison and Paul's at Makeney Hall. I was asked to sing Beatles songs during the ceremony, and play acoustic songs during the

drinks reception. In the evening the band arrived and we played two sets and D.J's until midnight. We had a lovely day, infact it felt like the first day of spring, the sun was out

and the birds were tweeting. Just want to say well done to Alisons daughter for singing during the meal and also singing the first dance-wonderful stuff!!

I've been working alongside Tillyboo Events for the last couple of years and I'm excited to mention that I'm now available for bookings around the midlands

thanks to Sarah effectively saving me from driving all over the country to sing! Tillyboo Events coordinate Sarah and Doms Wedding at Prestwold Hall

Last Friday was the wedding of Sarah and Dominic’s wedding day at the beautiful Prestwold Hall.
The ceremony took place in the church within the grounds of Prestwold Hall, it was truly stunning!
Prestwold Hall with Maverick hosted a wonderful reception and wedding breakfast. The food was delicious!

The Theme was set in stunning Golds, Bowns and Pinks - inspired by the festive season.
Sarah and Dom left no tiny detail out and EVERYBODY noticed what great lengths they had gone too.
Tillyboo Events were hired by Sarah and Dom as Wedding Planners to coordinate the day and to ensure everything ran smoothly for them. It was an 18 hour long day but a fantastic day was had by all and the end result was so worth it!

With unique ideas the celebrations were amazing and we were so glad to be a part of the couples wedding day.

A big thank you to the wonderful and amazing photographer Mr Crash Taylor whom captured the day perfectly as always, we class him as a wonderful friend and a sensational photographer. Big thanks also to his assistant Emma!

A great way to start the wedding off is these amazing Royal Mail Smilers :0)

Royal Mail have being doing these personalised photo stamps (or Smilers as they like to call them) for a good few years now but is amazing how few people have come across them. They are great finishing touch for your wedding photos or your thank you cards.

The process really is easy peasy. Just visit the Smilers section of the Royal Mail website, upload a photo, choose a stamp design and then order online in sheets of 20. We thinks its so worth the cost for that little touch of originality.

I just wanted to get in touch to say an absolutely massive thank you

Truly a lovely couple whom have been friendly and fun to work with...

Nick (Franc!) or Colin Firth look and sound a like

as I fondly referred to him, would make the best wedding planner...

obviously having a great teacher - yours truly!

His attention to detail was fabulous!!!!!!!!!!

Sam and Nick got married on the 4th April 2009 at Epperstone Church

We created a beautiful table set up recently at the

Hilton Wedding Fayre M1, J24,

displaying our new range of Chair cover sashes

and complimenting runners...

This is so 2009 and the colours were based

on the moodboard created,

showing Mocha's, Lattes and Peach...

Susan at the Hilton was unsure how this would look...

But as always we did not fail to impress ...

The sun was shining yet again and Em you indeed looked radiant!

Colour scheme was a very trendy Pink and Sage Green,

the room looked stunning and the detail including the flowers

worked really well.

We are back from the honeymoon and the wedding seems so far off now

but just wanted to say a thank you for your help and a big thank you

to Natalie for being so wonderful on the day and making things go swimmingly.

Everyone said that it is the most wonderful wedding they had been to

and we could not have done it without Tillyboos ideas and assistance

A big congratulations to Simon and Kimberley whom got married

at the beautiful Colwick Hall, Nottingham.
